H&M In Sweden Now Has Plus Sized Mannequins.

This has caused a lot of controversy. Many people are saying it condones obesity. Many others are celebrating the positive change in realistic expectations.

What side do you agree with?

Fashion WTF: $3,500 Polo Shirts

This Miguel Caballero polo has something special about it. No, not the fancy name, but close.

It’s bullet proof.

Yeah, a bullet proof polo that costs $3,500. You know, in case you’re going to play golf in the hood.

This anti-ballistic (bullet proof) polo shirt takes safety to an altogether new level. Designed by Colombian designer Miguel Caballero for his Black Label Collection, which is world renowned “high-security fashion.” High profile clients include action hero Steven Seagal, King Abdullah of Jordan, President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia, Prince Felipe of Spain, and other notable V.I.P.’s. This polo shirt comes in three levels of protection:

OPTION IIA:   9mm / 40 Smith and Wesson FMJ
OPTION II: 9mm / .357 Magnum / 38 Super / Mini Uzi submachine gun
OPTION IIIA: Uzi machine gun / MP5,MP9 submachine gun / 44 Magnum SJHP / Stab-proof

The question is who’s brave enough to see if it actually works?

Why Clothing Never Fits You Right

You go into a fitting room and you see a dress, top or a shirt (hopefully not all together) that you try on. You saw it in a magazine or a catalog but it just doesn’t look right on you! You think to yourself, “Maybe it’s because I’m not a model.” Then you start to look at it in different angles hoping that it looks better in certain angles. You pull out all the stops yet nothing is doing the job. Maybe you’re just bloated, you think.

But then again, you’re not that bad. So why isn’t it fitting right?

Well aside from the Photoshop work we do (really extensive!), there’s the real life “liquifying” that is done on garments. Being in the industry we know this, but to the general public, this is something they may not realize.

Now you know why clothing looks so fitted and beautiful in print, aside from Photoshop. The picture speaks for itself.
