The Lion King Rises: Christopher Nolan Approved Lion King Parody
From the title alone, I was confused as to the purpose of this video. Essentially, this ‘parody’ is the visuals from The Lion King with the audio from The Dark Knight Rises.
At first it sounded pretty ridiculous till you actually watch it. The voiceover is perfect, I don’t even know how that was possible. It made The Lion King look better than it actually was.
It’s so good, in fact, that Christopher Nolan called it ‘pretty epic’.
After I read that, I was quite impressed.
