One of our readers sent us a link to his beautiful work. I was floored with the concept and execution of light and model, entwined to create such amazing pieces of art.

When asked what inspired him, he told us:
My inspiration stems from reading the work of Goethe and many books on science, especially cosmology and biology. I love paintings ranging from Renaissance to Expressionism.I am also influenced by art films and theatre—especially the lighting.I am fascinated by the work of artists such as James Turrell who create environments in which the qualities and properties of light are replicated and enhanced in front of the viewer. This is revelatory. My aim is to mediate the properties of light via photography.I love photographers with abstract visions of the world such as : Moholy-Nagy, Minor White, Man Ray, Alexander Rodchenko, Frederick Sommer, Paul Strand, Brett Weston, Aaron Siskind, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Tokihiro Sato and Alvin Langdon Coburn (Vortographs). The greatest influence is the inexhaustible reality of light around us. We just have to look deeper.Every artist wants to reveal the invisible.
